Kalari

Kalaripayattu, often referred to as Kalari, is one of the oldest and most traditional martial arts in the world, originating from Kerala, India. It combines physical training with elements of yoga, healing practices, and weapon techniques. Kalari emphasizes agility, flexibility, and inner strength, involving swift movements, high kicks, and precise strikes. Practitioners are also trained in traditional body massages (Uzhichil) and pressure points (Marma), which enhance performance and healing. More than just a martial art, Kalari is a disciplined way of life that connects the body, mind, and spirit through centuries-old practices.
